What does a service include?

All our services cover an 8 point checklist and should take approximately 1 hour to complete.

1. Visual Inspection

Visual safety inspection of the boiler and all related areas to ensure they meet the current safety regulations and standards.

2. Clean Debris

Remove any debris or dirt in the system, and repair or replace any damaged parts.

3. Check Components

Remove the boiler casing and inspect all internal components like the heat exchanger, burner and main injector.

4. Check Spark Probe

Check that the spark sensor probe is clean and working.

5. Gas Tightness Test

Conduct a gas tightness test, to ensure there are no dangerous gas leaks.

6. Test Gas Valve

Run a test with the flue gas analyser to make sure the boiler is combusting efficiently.

7. Check Gas Flue

Ensure the flue terminals are free from obstruction and the internal flue components are correctly sealed.

8. Switch On Boiler

Switch boiler on to ensure it is working properly. You will be presented with a completed Gas Safe form, which includes all completed checks.

Power Flush

As part of the service we can also determine if your system would benefit from a power flush and can provide you with a quote.

Your boiler should be serviced every year this will ensure your warranty is valid and your boiler is working safe.

No, to service your boiler you need to be gas safe registered which all of our engineers are.

We can service your boiler at any time of the year. It all depends on what you want. We find that most customers want their boiler serviced during the summer to ensure it is working fine for the winter.

If it is possible to repair the fault without materials then this will be done free of charge. If the boiler requires a part and isn’t under warranty then we will quote you for the repair and get it done as soon as possible.
